MIIPS Box Pulse Shaping
Diffractive Pulse Shapers measure and compress optical pulses in seconds using MIIPS technology for automatic calibration and compression. The MIIPS box is a complete solution in that a spectrometer, computer and nonlinear optical detection are already part of the system. When changes are made to the optical path, MIIPS technology eliminates the need for time-consuming manual setup as our system automatically makes the adjustment within seconds.
MIIPS is an automated procedure for measuring and compressing optical pulses. Using a calibrated pulse shaper, various phase functions are applied to correct the amplitude and phase so that the optimum signal is present at the point of application.
The effect of applying the phase functions to spectrally resolved non-linear response such as second harmonic generation can be directly displayed.
